Retro Style! One of our talented vendors found these vintage Drexel chairs and recovered the seats in a fabulous animal print. They look terrific paired with this corner end table freshly painted black. (I always thought this style was an absolutely enormous unwieldy size but it's not so bad between two chairs).
We really love Halloween in the shop so since I have Jury Duty tomorrow and won't be back in until next week, I thought I'd share a couple of pictures with you.
First vintage Halloween candle I've found and I think it looks cute under this dome on a pedestal base.
Does anyone else love striped pumpkins as much as I do?
Gorgeous, huge floral arrangement and check out the container!!
And this handsome fella is a vintage Beistle skeleton I couldn't resist
I know - two posts in ONE day, whatever am I thinking? Just had to pass this along since tomorrow is the last day to sign up. The colors are lovely and it is for a whole quart!!! Thank you to one of my favorite blogs for the heads up!
Glidden free paint offer - expires October 11, 2009. ~S~
I love these dried flowers and have a bunch this year as you can see-just started drying them last year when I realized they had gotten past their prime to eat.
Recognize them? Californians and Oregonians should-perhaps others of you, too! Artichoke flowers is the answer.
Since this is only the third year for the entire plant, I think the crop would have been a rather nice one-more plants to be added to the garden next year just so we can have some to eat.
Enjoy the fall-we are!
P.S. The blog will be moving shortly - we are under construction with our own domain name too, thanks to my son. ~S~
